Between Worlds
This piece recognizes that in-between space. The times in life where something is shifting, but hasn’t quite fully arrived yet.
It came together in layers, as I built up, scraped back, and continued to rework it until it felt right.
The surface has depth that doesn’t fully translate in a photo. Some areas catch the light, while others fade away, so it changes depending on where you’re standing and where the light is.
You will notice there’s no single focal point. Your eye moves, lands, and moves again. You’ll most likely also notice different things each time you look at it. That was intentional.
